Hello! :)

Just in case I don't disappoint people who happen to drop by, here's a little update on my very peaceful, or rather quiet holidays. Basically, I've been spending my 3 weeks break at home with a bit of outing occasionally with my family. Not really in the mood to hang out and all, just wanna laze at home so that I don't have to wear contacts and make up. Also a good time for my eyes and skin to rest :)

Things that I really miss:
Home cook dishes by mom! ❤ (the fried prawn balls with cheese was cooked by me!!)

I always love waking up early in the morning for breakfast with my family. & dim sum is definitely my favourite of all! :D

Tutti frutti? I only go for TF in JB with the same bunch of people! I don't exactly love it in particular but just the company :)

Only get the chance to lay my fingers on it when I'm home. Makes me appreciate it even more ❤

Will be starting a brand new semester in 2 weeks time. I'm kinda excited though I know I'm gonna face even more obstacles & deal with heavier amount of assignments & stress! But one thing I'm sure of is, God will lead me through :) Amen! :)

It's just too disappointing to know that our government actually agrees to build the Rare Earth Plant in our country. When Tsunami strikes Japan last year, the exploration of nuclear power plant led to so many permanent lethal consequences yet we are still being ignorant. Doesn't that ring a bell that our Earth is being abused?

By signing the contract of building LYNAS itself has already signed us nations our death certificate. Has the nations health & safety been taken into consideration? I wonder what's the purpose of said project. To be frank, there is NO apparent benefits. We have such a beautiful country that is rich with various natural resources yet they are not being used wisely. Not to mention the financial crisis we are facing. Are we expecting for a more advanced country or plainly, money? I literally do not see better future coming to us. How heart-breaking.

We need a change. We really do.

Here's a compilation of my CNY this year. Feels like CNY isn't as fun/exciting as it used to be anymore and I hardly even get new clothes for myself. Guess the only good thing about it is you get to receive angpaus & good food to satisfy the tummy?

Got a shock of my life when I stood on the bathroom scale the other day, I've put on 2kg thanks to all the good food ate during CNY! Sigh! It's extremely hard to maintain body shape/mass with temptations like these huh :(

On the first day of CNY! Tried on really thick eye make-up and wore falsies for the first time! Took me about 15minutes to fix them on my real lashes. Brothers don't like it though :/ they say it's too fake. That's why it's called the FALSIES yo!! =.=

Haven't gambled for the past 8 years yet I became the biggest winner that night! :D HUAT AH!!!!!

Third day of CNY. Was too lazy for any make up, a Hello Kitty specs brings out beauty as well :p

Back at Uni!

Currently bored in the hostel since my class was cancelled which means I come all the way back to Uni for only ONE freaking class on Monday :( and also to move house!

The moving thing was an impromptu that totally spoils my mood! The hostel management rang me up just as I arrived last friday, they told me to move to another unit due to the leaking problem in my room which leads to electrical disturbance yet they couldn't find me a room at that moment! All they did was asking my roomie and I to move out asap! It really got me depressed because, first, I did not know where I'd go; second, I might have to stay separately with my roomie unless they found us an unoccupied room, and third, 1901 is a real good unit and I was indeed lucky to be assigned to that unit with a bunch of nice housemates! Seriously I even thought of staying there throughout my 3 years of degree but sigh, good things come to an end! :'(

Roomie and I are disappointed when we moved into the current unit due to all the down side of it. Guess the only thing that I'm grateful is that we still get to stay together since our lifestyle is quite the same and we get along quite well. Seriously, I'd do whatever it takes to move back to 1901! I really love being there! :'(

The reason why I'd never get starved to death in the hostel. LOL!

This is how my current place look like.

Sometimes, I wish I don't have to leave home for Uni cos there are so many inconvenience. However, it's a plus point that you get to experience different exposure in life. Some might think its a sign of freedom, oh well, it doesn't make much difference to me since my parents are kinda lenient on me :)

But one thing I really hate about staying away from home is that I've to settle my own meals! It actually takes me 30 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurant to pack for food and I usually come back feeling like a jelly, sweaty with growling-tummy :( It's fine when the weather is gloomy/windy but when it's not, yeah you can imagine this puteri lilin here swearing like never before! Which is why I tend to eat cup noodles or rather not eating at all at times.

One of my fave food here, pecal ayam! Makes the best time together with good show to watch :D

Happy new year, dear all ! :D

I kicked start my 2012 with high fever & flu! But I do believe this year is gonna be a great one despite the sickness :) Nevertheless, 2011 was a fucking AWESOME one I reckon! ❤
It was great ending of 2011 & starting of 2012 together with my baobeis! :D Seriously, it's my first time going new year countdown with friends. I usually spend it with my family since it's my sister's bday on the 1st of Jan.

On the 30th, Ting & I went in SG for a walk.

2011 had been an awesome, amazing & marvelous year to me!

I experienced so many of my first-time in this year- work as part-timer, chase star, attend Uni, 8 months of holidays STRAIGHT, etc. It wouldn't be so much fun without my dear family, SFC, girlfriends & of course, daddy God :)

Hearing the Christmas songs played at every places you go just reminds me of the Christmas concert we had back in Convent. Ahh the good old times! :)

Anyways, the week has been good! Been stuffing myself with lotsa good food the moment I got back to JB but sadly, the body mass will never be mercy to me! Put on a kg when I'm only back for a week! Can't imagine how I'd look like after CNY :/ shall start working out real hard soon!

It was Winter Solstice day on last thursday! One of my favourite season cos I get to eat tang yuen! :D Yup, those very yummy-looking glutinous balls were made by myself! ❤

& on that day itself, mom, sis and I went to get our hair done for CNY. Guess what! That damn stylist mixed up the hair dye that my sis and I wanted! I asked for red & sis asked for something yellowish/golden but ended up I got the colour that she wants and vice versa! ARGH!!

but when I got home, I GOT A SHOCK OF MY LIFE!!

Why did my hair become so yellowish that I look like some chow ah lien??!! T.T
Some of my friends actually say I look like korean star with this hair color but the thing IS, I don't fancy any of the korean stars. Nah, nahhhhhh!!
Seriously I can't accept myself looking like this, so we rang up the stylist and had a GOOD chat with him. What, at least I didn't swear at him okay. PFFFFFFT!

So people, please don't get shocked when we meet up :'( Will dye it back to some normal darker color soon. Sigh! I hope the colour fade off eventually after washing my hair, at least turn into some darker shade of brown please! :(

On a brighter note, met up with my darling sisters yesterday! It's always lovely when we get together and catch up with each others' life. I'm very very glad that although we hardly meet up, like once or twice a year? yet we're still as close as we were & SO many things to gossip about! :D

Life is great when you are free from assignments & tests! Haha! Yes, I'm HOME! :D My family picked me up from Uni straight after my finals, then we stayed for a night in KL for some shopping before heading back JB. Wonder if it's me being picky but can't really get much things in KL so I thought I should put more hope for S'pore BUT it was rather a disappointing one! FAIL! :(

So yup, haven't gotten anything for CNY except tonnes of bottoms! I don't know why but I have this bad habit that whenever I shop, I tend to get bottoms and usually ended up without/with just a single top. Sigh! Seriously, I need to get more tops & dresses!

Hellooooooooo! I'm in the midst of my finals but feeling as though I'm done with it :p I think it's because the toughest paper was over already so everyone actually went celebrating right after the paper yesterday!

Well, Nia the kawan and I never fail to enjoy life whenever we can! Chilled at Starbucks & had loads of women stuff session as usual ;)
I love the Christmas drink this year! Her Hot Toffee Nut Latte and my White Choco Mocha Frap! *slurps*
OH BTW, that's my new Hello Kitty spectacles! Adorable much? :D Such a cheap deal thanks to my fellow HK lover partner, Kerryn! Glad to find someone with the same obsession in Uni. :) I'm lovin' it to the max!

Here's a little updates on life lately. I flew off to somewhere for some secret task 2 weeks ago, guess I did mention about it in the previous post eh? Anyways, secret task shall remain as secret task. One of the greatest time in my life! Seriously 2011 has been AWESOME I must say! ❤

While waiting for the flight. First time flying alone & thank God for the smooth one! :)

Finally got it! Remember how hyped I was when my Hong Kong friend whatsapp me the picture of the McD HK collection while I was having English class the other day. LOL! Yup, this kitty is all the way from Hong Kong! Thanks Cindy, you know I love you! ;)

Was shocked when I look at the date of my last blog post :p it's been long eh?
Been pretty busy with all the assignments, quizzes and presentation from Uni and yes babe! I'm finally done with all coursework of the semester! WHEE! Now, left with finals the biggest league & I'll be off for holidays! :D Can't wait to go back home & meet up with my friends! ❤

Today was THE presentation and was totally stunned when my group was called to be the first to present! But thankfully I wasn't nervous at all :) indeed, I'm super glad to be the first to present and even get it done by this week! So then I can fly off for my secret task next week without worries :D Praise God! He always have his perfect timing :)

Rushed back to my hometown last thursday night to attend my big bro's ROM on the Friday which was also the 11.11.11 !

Right after the lunch, we rushed into S'pore to send my korkor & dasao to the airport as they're flying for China. Not for honeymoon okay, kor had business trip so dasao tagged along as usual.
While sissy and I were in the toilet at Changi airport, we spotted a girl in Hu Xia's fan club tee so we assumed that he was coming to S'pore or so. Being kaypoh, sissy, mom and I actually waited at the airport just to see him in person. HAHAHA!

The fans of Hu Xia. 8 people in total. We counted, seriously.

Oh, in case you don't know who Hu Xia is (which I initially didn't know too), here's one of his songs! Very very nice! :D

It's the theme song for the movie which has been highly rated recently and I'm so gonna watch it next week with the darlings below!

There's always a period when you just don't have the mood to do anything, like anything at all and you've no idea what's wrong with yourself. Honestly, I've been pretty adjusted to the life in Uni until recently, the motivation seems to disappear and it makes me feel like running home. Nothing exactly is going wrong despite my emotions. I guess it's the rising-tension. Many times I do wonder if I'm in the correct program because I can't even handle myself well what makes me to think that I can handle a patient in the future? But again, we are here to learn. Something undeniable is that I really hate it when I can't answer certain questions asked in class because Psych is a subject that I've ever come across whereas some of them did. I can't help to find myself stupid at some point. Perhaps because I was never in such position idk.

And yeah, I do miss someone whom I haven't been hearing from. You good? I'm not.

And TA-DA! This my new baby which I bought it a couple of weeks ago. It initially came with white strings but I've changed them into yellow & pink! How cute :D but that's not the exact pink I want, would prefer something brighter in tone. Still hunting for it but meanwhile I'd just stick to this :)

On a brighter note, Nia and I finally made our way to ss15 for Snowflake successfully! Yeah man, I've been here for a few months and now only I get to eat this heavenly dessert which I've always longed for. Attempted to eat it few times before this but either the Q was too long to wait for or a heavy rain just had to stop us from going there.

Woots! Finally have the time to sit down and write a proper blog post. I'm finally on my mid-sem break after completed 5 assignments & a 20% quiz! 8 weeks passed by so quickly! But yeah, they call it a holidays when I've a 2000 words essay & Stats homework due right after the break. Awesomeeeeeee.

Anyways, I'm home! :D Reached JB on Friday night and decided to enjoy the first 3 days of my break first before I get all stressed up over my assignments, again! So there goes my Sat, Sun & Mon!

HAHAHA man, that's not lazy. The sun was hot and we had to protect ourselves from getting skin diseases so yeah :p Girls would be girls!

Went hunting for new clothes for our iPhone and HP is such a paradise for that! You guys should totally check it out there for cheap and pretty phone casings! I named the title 1 M'sia because I'm rather grateful for the holidays on 916! Most people think it's redundant but it's a holiday and I get to go home for a longer weekend! I bet all students are thankful for that, so yay for 1 M'sia day! :D

Honestly, I do envious those KL kids who don't have to leave home and stay in a hostel during Uni. I felt more relaxing doing my assignments at home where I have TV, my piano and definitely more SPACE and freedom! Yes, it's sad that you've to bring assignments home to do when it's supposed to be a holiday. But oh wells, despite all of these, I still enjoy Uni life :) Praise God!

Went for haircut when I went back to JB for the last weekend.

Hello! The weekend is finally here! :D
Uni's been pretty good but for sure, good thing won't last long. I've been assigned with a few researches and their due dates are way too close. Class tests & quizzes are kicking in as well. I already had my first quiz which I thought I'd do well but heck, did a careless mistake that makes me really wanna stab myself :'( So yup, gotta start working on them real soon! *am actually in the midst if Psych revision but it's too hypnotizing! Hence, blogging is the thing!*

Went for my first Christian Fellowship here with the SunU-ians, it's always good to be able to pray & worship God in a community. Was overwhelmed by the warmness and got approached by a few seniors to follow them to church but I guess it's not the time yet till I get reaaaaally settled down with my schedule here.

Oh dear, can't believe my break has come to an end. Why do happy moments always pass by so quickly? :( Here am I blogging from my house. Just done packing and I'll be heading back to Uni in less than 2 hours. Back to that lonely, empty & cold hostel room. 寂寞空虚有点冷~

And you know what? My assignment is still left UNTOUCHED. Been enjoying my 5 days of holidays way too much that I literally forgotten about it. Thank God it's not due tomorrow, otherwise, you'll see me on the newspaper. *touchwood*

New life

After suffering in the absence of internet connection for about 2 weeks, I'm finally back! Currently using the Uni's internet which my roomie borrow her username & pw to me. How sweet :) Had to depend on my iPhone for any of my social network updates but sometimes it's just hard to do things through the tiny screen. I'm not complaining okay. What I wanna say is, Maxis broadband seriously sucks to the max!

Anyway, I've apparently started Uni. Life is tough as usual. Just keep telling myself to hang in there and I'm gonna pull through no matter what. A friend told me, God would not put you in a situation nor give you a challenge that you cannot handle. So, hopefully I'll be able to enjoy and strive hard at the same time. :)

Watched Rise of the planets of the apes with Si Wei & Tracy before we head to our favourite korean bbq for dinner. Can you believe it's like my first movie after not watching any for a year? My last movie was Inception if case you're wondering. Yeah, no joke.

The title of the movie sounds like the apes were taking over the planet and all human beings are gonna decease but nah, all they wanted was to go back to their jungle. Story line was so-so, I guess the moral value of the story was hmm, to against animal testing? The effect was nice though & the chimpanzees, orang utan and all looked so real! Caesar is a charming chimpanzee that rides the horse! XD

Oh my geez, it's already August! :O

The ending of STPM seems like just yesterday and what? I've already rotted at home for almost 3 quarter of a year! This.is.scary. Uni is kicking in, seriously, the thought of leaving home always gets my nerves on. I think I've this phobia of living on my own :( but hey, I'm already 20! Time to get outta shelter & be more independent. Sigh, I hate growing up.

Anyways, here's a post on the SFC (JB's) 730 celebration! It's like one of our biggest event of the year since it's our beloved hubby's birthday! Besides the days of him coming to Malaysia which is very very very EXTREMELY rare. But 2011 has been a good one because we get to see him thrice! (225, 416, 517) ♥

Today's the last day of myself being a teenager. Aw :( stepping into adulthood definitely scares me, but I'm thankful to God for such a wonderful teenage-hood. I'm sure most of us had/have a great one, because we are lucky that we are healthy and are able to live like a normal kid.

How about the unfortunate then?

A junior of mine, Leonie, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Mediastinal Large B-cell Lymphoma (it's kind of blood cancer) last year. She quit school and undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy, yet she isn't completely healed. Now, she needs to go for a stem cell transplant in order to continue living. Her family are facing a hard time as they've very limited funding. They need YOUR help.

Woke up at 1pm today with massive headache thanks to the overnight K session last night! Hung out with my SFC peeps, initially we only planned to yum cha but someone came out with the K session idea because singing in the midnight is CHEAP as 7bucks! Oh tell me how to resist temptation! Feels extremely bad every time I reach home only at the crack of dawn and my parents actually waited for me even though I told them not to. Sigh, I'm such a bad girl. :(

Hello! :) This would be just a random update on my very relaxing/boring life with a little bit of rantings here & there.

Something that I would loved to share about,

Yup, I have this app in my iPhone called the YouVersion Holy Bible which allows me to search for verses and to read it like your normal Bible any time, any where with just a few taps! :) I believe God gives me the iPhone for a purpose despite the old phone's being really nasty to me. :p

I really love the daily devotion plan provided in this app that amazingly shows me useful verses which very much related to my life each day!

Speaking of that, what's God plan for me? I've been slumbering away for the past 6 months & July is kicking in in no time yet I'm still stuck here, not knowing where would be my next destination. I actually have a few plans in mind but still being extremely unsure if that's the route I should be taking. I wouldn't want to repeat the same mistake 2 years back. It was definitely horrible! :(

"So where do I go?" I keep questioning. Parents been adding on to my pressure too. It's been puzzling me too much & I'm getting more paranoid. I can't afford to waste any more time, I need to go & STUDY! Look, my friends in Poly are already in their 3rd year, most of my friends are already in 2nd year of Uni and what about me? :(

Enough of whining, I will continue praying & ask for God guidance.
Recently, Kim & I have been working on Reggae! Pretty tough techniques but we can do it! :D Still remember those days when we dance for events in high school. Ah the good old times ❤

Guess the effect of caffeine has been working really hard on me. It's either I fall asleep after lying on the bed for hours or stare at the ceiling/window till I realized the sun rises. The latter sucks! :( Apparently my liver isn't very happy with me, my complexion is deteriorating (again!) and I'm putting on a little weight. Yes, not getting enough sleeps make you grow fat! *cries*

Hmm. Maybe I shall blame the gaining weight part to my fellow babes since we've been eating from day to dawn! :p I substitute the night cos we usually hang out till dawn. Tsk tsk, bad girls.

我真的想问马来西亚怎么了？怎么会出现那么多的社会败类？
先是去年网上不断流露出变态伤害小动物的影片结果马来西亚SPCA竟然说小动物没死案子不被处理？变态仍逍遥法外？！
这件事连新加坡的SPCA都看不过要出面解决真是丢脸！
最近很火红的则是欺压同学的影片！看了真叫人愤怒！

以下是一群败类欺负一名女生的短片：

删除了原视频就能假装什么都没发生吗！？
这群败类！竟然敢光明正大欺负别人还拍成影片就这么想红？
请大家不断转发直到公正给予受害者一家人！也让那些败类的丑态红遍全世界！

Last Saturday, the JB SFC gang had a BBQ party at Lean's place. We also planned a surprise birthday celebration for both Shuting & Jazz :)

Sujin and I met up before the party for lunch & high tea. Great time catching up :D

OH MY GEEZ! Times zooming too fast & it's already May! :O But no worries, I'm not starting Uni any time soon so yeah, more time to hang around & more updates :)

Had a very last minute and spontaneous trip to KL the last weekend for Asian Music Festival since Sharlene has some free tickets. Was quite excited when Sharlene offered me to join them (with Erica & Yang too) because the artists that I like were going to be there too! Zhang Yun Jing & Lollipop F.

The huge posters could still be seen around the town! How I miss 416 :')

Dropped our luggages in the hotel before heading to The Mines for AMS. We were late because we met a weird bus driver :/

Life's been treating me well recently :D

My daily routine has revert to the same old ones before I had my part-time job, either rot at home or out with friends. My pay has been well-spent because every cents were hard-earned by myself. I won't go on elaborating on how hard/tough working was cos I don't want to get nightmares again :/ Haha! But spending money wisely is so unlike me! Like I can't just grab whatever I eyed on as I'll have to save them up for Uni purpose AND for 515 :) *懂的人懂* that sounds like a big sum but trust me, NOT!

Speaking of wise-spent, I bought myself a new purse! Finally found something that I really like! Although I initially thought I could get myself a super branded one like Gucci, LV, Coach, etc but sigh, the amount of my pay just wouldn't allow me. But Esprit will do! :)Actually, I kinda fell in love with it when I first saw it during my last trip to Malacca. But I wasn't really in the mood to make any purchases as my pay hasn't been banked in at that time & also I was worried that I might have shortage of money for 416.

This was bought last Sunday in S'pore in a very much cheaper price compared to M'sia. That makes me a happier girl! :D

And here's something really brightens my day up just a couple of minutes ago,

Yes! The long awaited 416 was finally here! It was a great success :D Everything ended so fast and I feel so empty the moment he boarded the plane & left. I'm missing him & the SFC already! :(

So, on the 415, the JB peeps gathered at Senai airport then off we go to KL to meet up with the rest. Landing was smooth, thank God!

The presents we bought for our hubby, mother-in-law, Ah Xiong & Xiaoshuang jie!

Local snacks that we prepared for the dancers & crew! :)

After picking the pig up, we rushed back to our luxurious hotel- Hilton! (yes, we stayed at the same hotel as him!)

At night, everybody gathered in the room to practise the songs for the concert. And I was BUSY writing card for my hubby. Yeah, banana like me can't write Taiwan chinese. Sad case.

They even shined the torch light into our eyes. SUPER WTF! But thanks to our sweet hubby for saying, "EVERYBODY STAND UP!" to piss the rela off.

There were a few scene that were indeed touching at the concert. Especially when the videos of his past achievements were played, I teared :') So so proud of him!
Everyone refused to leave although the concert has already ended. By that, I meant all the audience, including non-SFC! How passionate, high & sporting M'sian are! :D

So yesterday, I met up with Qing Ling! :D Hasn't meet up with her for months. It was awesome catching up with her and I do feel the maturity in us while chatting. I mean, the topics we talked about are totally different from the past. You wouldn't wanna know the details :D

Not in a very good mood to blog but still insist on finishing this post. UGH I just hate it when my parents didn't get lunch for me. I mean, you've no time to cook at least make an effort to tapau for me. FYI, there's NO maggie or anything that I can cook at home. Thanks for starving me to death and making me to have no energy to gym today and my weight is argh I will stop here.

Been going out practically everyday to run some errands and to hang out with friends. FINALLY meet up with Si Wei after a month! :D Yeah we must meet up every month and spill things out at each other or we'll get PMS the whole month! I wonder how would I survive when I'm leaving JB. :'(

Had Nando's for lunch while waiting for Sarah to come. And OMG Sarah doesn't know what's Roibo :S

Happy birthday, my darling Sarah Wong Yi Xuan!

2 days ago we were still talking about how scary it is to hit the big TWO O, and there, you hit it 15 hours ago! I hope you enjoyed your time today & I know turning 20 is gonna be a good start of a brand new phase for you :) Best wishes to you, hopefully we can go to the same Uni & even stay in the same hostel/room :D I can so imagine us talking non-stop through the nights!

The shots were taken 2 days ago when we met up. Shar was supposed to join us but the last minute meeting in S'pore hold her back. We had a great talking session that day. I mean, that's what girls do when they meet up, besides shopping, no? :)

We had SO much to talk about, SO much to update on each other and SO juicy & fresh were the news! :D

I don't know exactly how many hours we spent on talking that day but the car park fee cost freaking RM15! Yeah you may go calculate now and it was definitely not enough for us! I always wish we were still in high school, being surrounded by the girls we love because I just can't wait to tell them what happens in my life each day! My girlfriends are certainly one of the best gifts from God & you know they'll never leave you :)

That's how I look in the morning, without make up/photoshop (I don't photoshop my pictures in case you're wondering) Hence, the dark rings! Argh! How to get rid of them? :(

I'm a bangles craze and you'll be amazed by my bangles collection. Here's the new ones! Love especially the leopard print & the pearls! :D

I noticed as I grew up, I don't spend so much on cosmetics products but skin care products! My complexion is deteriorating each day and I'm not that confident anymore. Going out without make up seems like a no-no to me, I feel naked. I may look okay in the picture above but sigh, I'm defeated by my low self-esteem :(

It's been a real long time since I last updated this site, 25 days to be exact, cos' I was busy with work! Yes, work! The princess has finally decided to get herself a part-time job & earn her own money. :) It's no doubt a good thing since I can get myself occupied instead of rotting at home & also venture out to the actual working life out there. The best part is, getting pay! :D

I worked at Popular book fair as a retail assistant :) Basically, I helped the fellow cashiers with packing and my responsibility was running around to look for what the customers want, answering their endless weird/typical/intimidating questions and to fulfil their ridiculous demands of giving extra plastic bags! Oh ya, and to smile at them!

I claimed to be a bad sales girl NOT because I get complained or anything bad that is going across your mind right now but I silently curse at customers who asked for extra plastic bags when it's unnecessarily needed and some idiots who brought their own recycle bag but refuse to use it just because we're providing plastic bags. Hello, are you dumb?

It's really saddening to know there are still SO many people out there being extremely indifferent on the environmental issues. I detest those idiots! :(

However, I do love & appreciate people who brought their own recycle bag for shopping as well as saying NO! to plastic bags. I'd smile at them genuinely and even thank them for that :)

Do you know how much of effort & man power is needed to set up this whole thing?

It was like a total nightmare for me! We took about 1.5 days to get all the tables/shells set up, arranging the books/disc/boxes, moving the stocks from places to places and so on. It was VERY VERY tedious for princess like me who NEVER worked at all before this. Carrying loads is definitely not my thing and guess what, I fell sick on the first day of book fair itself! BTW, the setting up was done 2 days before the actual fair.

And for the first 4 days after I get back to work, I had to suffer for being a mute because I had sore throat which affected my voice box that I lost my voice & was coughing constantly. :( The illness very much discouraged me and really made me felt like quitting this job at that moment but thank God for His strength that I was able to persevere till the end of everything! Or else, I bet someone out there would look down on me even more huh? You know who you are. & too bad, I made it!

TA-DA! The wrapping up session ended real quick and everything was cleared in 7 hours! (yeah that's considered efficient compared to the setting up which took us more than 20 hours to get things done)

Try to read from her writing? Hehe. We had a good chat and am glad to have met her. I hardly pour out to someone whom I only knew for 2 weeks you know :) She's a nice girl!

Would love a thank MANY people for your well wishes, constant support, encouragement & care or I wouldn't have come to work and enjoyed myself so much throughout this 2 weeks; namely Yeeshean the laopengyou, Szehui honey, Elean the woman, Tracy my daughter, Sara bud, my fellow SFC jia ren, girlfriends and Heavenly Father :)

I also want to thank YOU who looked down on me, accusing me and said nasty things to me which enhance my willpower for wanting to achieve this even more to prove you wrong! Your words won't bring me down because I'm not up to you to judge! Your sarcasm wouldn't make any changes to my life. Stop bragging & boasting about yourself ! I don't blame you for having such characteristic since you can't choose the way you're being brought up and mind you, not everyone in the world can tolerate your provoking-mouth. Stop wallowing in self-pity and get a life! If you don't change for the sake of yourself, then I'm sorry for your future.

Okay, enough of whining. So apparently, my first working experience ended with a high note and it was absolutely an incredible one! I do look forward to working with you guys again! :D

My boy is currently in Malaysia, at Pavilion for his upcoming concert's promo tour. But I'm not there with the other SFC's and I'm regretting already :(

Hence, we are making our own to sell ! Regarding its colour, it HAS to be blue as Show is the spokesperson for PEPSI, which is one of the major sponsor for Show's concert!

As shown in the picture above, there's Show's picture on the stick, so you can keep it for your own eye candy after the concert! :D It's much bigger than the usual kind of neon sticks and definitely has better quality as we seek for professions to custom make it.

Unexpected

So, the results were released today. Everything was like a dream for me. As much as I hope it was, it turned out to be the opposite, how harsh.

You know what? Never in my life I’ve worked so hard to achieve something yet I still fail.

I wouldn’t say I’ve done my best but I did all that I could. Many times when I was at the verge of giving up, my friends never fail to encourage me, which very much motivates me and makes me really want to give myself a chance to do well.

I tried, I struggled and thought I made it through.

Yes, I am crying. I hate having to cry over spilt milk but I can’t help with myself.

Nobody is blaming. Everyone tells me that they’re proud of me without knowing my actual results. In times like this, I'm truly glad to have you girls with me & I’m really thankful to all of you who showed concern, showered me with love and for being there for me even though some of you guys are in the midst of exams preparations. You guys definitely make me feel a lot better. And I’m sorry if I’ve turned you down for msn/skype, I know you guys wanted me to throw things out to feel better and to cheer me up but I’m sure to burst into tears if I were to talk about it. But I appreciate it all.

I’m terribly sorry for the disappointments. I know some set high expectation on me based on my self-confidence and hard work which you’ve seen. I’m wrong, for being over confidence. I thought things were going to be good at the end of the day. All of us did. But it didn’t. We just didn’t expect ourselves to fall so hard. The hit was just so strong, so strong that it makes me grown up overnight.

Are you waving at your monitor screen? XD I sound very stupid because right now, I'm so bored and I've nothing else better to do than blogging. That's why I'm here updating this neglected site which I know none will spend time reading it. But if you are, thank you so much! :D

It's just a pair of funky specs but some called it magnifying glasses I've no idea why XD

Been having nothing but not exactly nothing to do at home since I've MONTHS of holidays but I'm not planning to look for any job so I'm living like a taitai at the moment. Yes! Being a taitai is what I've always longed for but! If I'm ever offered for my dream to come true I'll not hesitate but strive as hard as I could to live for it! After all, life is not a bed of roses & I like being motivated to do something that I like. :) *God! You hear me? Please lead my way there!*

Okay if you're wondering,
sleeping, watching dvds, surfing the net, gym/exercise, learning new dance moves, composing songs, sweeping the house, planning to take up Reggae classes, missing my husband & smirks like an idiot, shopping (etc?) are what I've been doing these days!

Currently watching "Endless Love" by Wilber Pan. Pretty nice & romantic series to catch, unlike some kinda series which makes you fall for your dreamland & snores unknowingly :P I'm at the 6th episode and I like how "Hi My Sweetheart" appears in this scene :D Oh btw, this scene is in episode 4. Eh husband, can don't look so cute ah? :D

OH YEAH OH YEAH! MY STPM RESULTS IS COMING OUT IN 2 DAYS TIME! FREAKING TWO DAYS! I don't know what to expect I think I'm gonna faint on the spot! I know it's of no point crying now but I really really really hope my results is gonna be a decent/pleasing one!

Happy Valentines' day to all couples & singles! :)

I don't think this day is meant for just couples but also a special day for us to express our love to our loved ones, be it your friends or family :) It could be God too! :D I'm proud to be a single & happy being one. CNY compilation

I know it's a bit late but, HAPPY BUNNY YEAR to all of you celebrating! :D

I was quite reluctant to make this post before this because I've so much to write about & so many pictures to upload. Yes, I'm getting lazier. So here's a compilation of my chinese new year with just a few pictures taken each day. You know where to find the rest, right? *wink*

We had our CNY eve reunion dinner at my grandma's for the past few years with my dad's siblings family but this year, the adults decided to have it at my uncle's restaurant. There were 7 families together. I don't like the idea. Let's not talk about how sucky the service & performances was.
I hate having to put the huge cross in this picture! The passerby spoiled my picture, ARGH!

Then, it was the first day of CNY! :D Never fails to get excited over the new clothes, new footwear, new bag, & everything new!
I find myself looking pretty good in sweet pink :) Makes me look even fairer, plus my newly coloured hair!

This is a MUST EAT during CNY, my grandma's signature noodles. It's heavenly awesome & you'd ask for more even though your tummy is bigass bloated & the food has already reach the peak of your esophagus. This isn't an exaggeration! Which also explains why people get fat in this season! :P

& how can we not catch up with the most charming, amazing, fabulous *inserts whatever nice description* guy, SHOW LO, on the tv! "过年不看罗志祥不会huat!" by SFC :D

Visited more of my relatives in S'pore in the afternoon. The 4 Miss Tan had a series of poserific photo shoot by my bro, the dslr holder. XD

The family plus my aunt & grandma flew over to Jakarta on the 3rd day!
Was kinda excited at the beginning but I started swearing the moment I stepped into the plane.

Is this what the birds see everyday while flying high up? The mother nature is beyond beautiful :)

Reached Jakarta in the evening, the journey was about 2 hours and my ass hurts. So basically, all we did on the first & second day of this trip was to tour and shop around the city, Soekarno Hatta. Jakarta is actually quite a developed place with huge shopping centres all over, like SOGO!

One thing I love about there, the chilies are real spicy & hot!

Other than that, Malaysia wins hands down! ;) I love Malaysia! Nothing beats home :)

On the third day, we went to The Puncak for Safari ! Favourite time during this trip ;D It was so exciting because you get to drive into the jungle to see the animals or rather, being watched by the animals! You could even wind down the window to feed them!

My first time coming in contact with the elephant, it feels rough & hairy!

Also, the baby lion! It's SO adorable! :D

& look what I found there? SFC = Safari Fried Chicken? XD what about our SHOW FANS CLUB?

LOL.

Forth day, we went to Bandung for the Volcano & hot spring! :D The place is approximately 3 hours drive from the city. My goodness, the way Indonesians drive could have send me straight to heaven but thank God I'm home in one piece. *wipes sweat*

The smell of sulphur & liquids that flew out from the volcano was.. okay go try in the chemitry lab. Horrible :X

We headed back to S'pore then Malaysia on the fifth day! It's SO good to be home! I hit the gym on the right next day when I arrived in M'sia. Yes I won't & can't allow myself to go outta shape/put on weight because that really depresses me. It's just the girls' desire to be beautiful :)

The rain stops finally! Amen! Okay actually, it stopped yesterday.

So apparently, the trip to S'pore yesterday was a smooth one. Tracy wanted her shoes for CNY so we went searching high & low in Bugis and guess what? She ended up getting it in CS JB! Sien. Went in for nothing, wasted my $15 T.T

It's been pouring since yesterday and seems like the rain isn't gonna stop anytime! I hope it's not flooding anywhere so that people can make their trip back to their hometown safely & I can still go shopping tomorrow without having to change/cancel my plan! :(

So, I've been shopping alot lately for CNY. Went in S'pore twice in a week with my dearest mok meng to hunt for clothes.

Oh oh, btw, I dyed my hair! :D
It's brownish gold, can't really remember what is it called. My stylist sorta mix the colour for me :) It looks kinda bright under the sun & darker when indoor.

Going to learn my dance steps now, I've so many songs in hand to be completed. So yup, good day all ! :)
